“FRIENDS OF RUSH” CONTRIBUTION PROGRAM ADDED TO $30,000 “MFG NIGHT” IN CONJUNCTION WITH SWEENEY LM TOUR EVENT AUG 31 AT PPMS

(Pulaski, PA)…As the list of valuable products continues to grow for the $30,000 plus Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model ”Manufacturers Night” on Saturday, August 31 at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway, Series officials have announced the addition of “The Friends of RUSH” program to this exciting night that will including a $1,500 to-win Tour event!

“The Friends of RUSH” was designed after several inquiries and requests from numerous individuals and companies to be able to also participate in the upcoming “Manufacturers Night”.  Through this program, $50 contributions will be accepted and utilized to purchase $50 Sunoco Gas Cards that will also be randomly awarded to RUSH participants on this night!  These gas cards will be able to be utilized at any Sunoco gas station throughout the region.

“The ‘Friends of RUSH’ program is going to be a great addition to Manufacturers Night,” stated Series Co-Director Vicki Emig.  “Over the past few weeks, we have had so many different individuals who have wanted to participate in this event in some way, but perhaps did not fit into the product contributor requirements of the program.  What better way to include and recognize these great people but to purchase and distribute gas cards to our racers, something they all can utilize!”

Host Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Speedway has offered $2 off adult general admission and all accompanying children admitted free offer to contributors and access to the speedway’s VIP area for one lucky contributor and guest or family.  Contributors will also receive special continuous recognition both pre and post-event and on the night of event.  Contributors will also have an opportunity to be photographed with and receive an autographed picture with the driver who wins their gas card.

The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC Manufacturers Night Touring event is expected to draw over 40 competitors on this night and will be showcased on PPMS’ regular “Action Event” program that features Super Late Models, Sportsman Stock cars, and more.
