SATURDAY'S HOVIS RUSH LATE MODEL FLYNN'S TIRE/GUNTER'S HONEY TOUR EVENT AT WINCHESTER CANCELLED DUE TO HIGH PROBABILITY OF RAIN

(Winchester, VA)...With a 90% chance of rain in the forecast throughout the day and night and temps only in the 50s,  the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Racing Series and track owner Greg Gunter felt it was in the best interest of all related to parties to make the call to cancel Saturday's Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Touring Series portion of the event at Winchester Speedway.  At this time, Winchester will run a City Chevrolet Weekly Series event for the RUSH Late Models on Saturday weather permitting.  Stay tuned to Winchester's Facebook and website for details.  It's the goal of both RUSH and Winchester to reschedule the $5,000 to-win Tour event. 

The Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Touring Series will now set its sights on a doubleheader weekend next Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12.  Stateline Speedway will host the $3,000 to-win "Bill Law Memorial" on Saturday night followed by the first of two appearances at Eriez Speedway on Sunday evening.
