By Mike Leone

November 29, 2015               FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pulaski, PA)...For the third straight year, the Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Racing Series will host its mandatory Authorized Engine Rebuilders Seminar for the RUSH Late Model, Sportsman Modified, and Pro Stock Authorized Rebuild and Repair Facilities.  The seminar will take place on Saturday, December 5 at the Hampton Inn & Suites Grove City from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The meeting has been scheduled at this time in order to precede the rebuild/repair season for many regional racers.

In an effort to educate and provide continued consistency and correctness throughout the region in the GM crate engine rebuild/repair process, the seminar will allow RUSH Late Model and Pro Stock "Rebuild" Facilities and RUSH Sportsman Modified "Repair" Facilities the opportunity to participate in informational exchanges, in depth discussions, and hands on experience concerning all aspects of these important processes.

In addition to rebuilders, the seminar will also include RUSH Competition Director Travis Harry, Sunoco Race Fuels rep Joe Skotnicki, Maxima Racing Oils rep Gene Jones, and representatives from Pace Performance.

“As we continue to grow, we feel it's important to continue to mandate attendance for this annual meeting for those that wish to be authorized with RUSH to rebuild or repair engines," explained RUSH Series Co-Director Vicki Emig.  "It's important to us that everyone authorized with our Series realize how important the rebuild/repair process is to the continued growth of RUSH and crate racing in general.  The integrity of a strong and viable crate racing program is the teching and rebuild/repair process and it is important to us, our racers and sanctioned speedways to have confidence in the knowledge of those rebuilding these engines."

RUSH rebuilders from as far north as Canada, south into North Carolina and everywhere in between will be in attendance.  Rebuilders that are currently involved with any other crate racing series, be it dirt or asphalt, are welcome to attend providing they pre-register. Also, RUSH-sanctioned speedway's promoters and tech officials are also invited to attend, although not mandatory.  A specific tech meeting for speedways and their tech officials will be held in the spring of 2016 prior to the start of the new racing season.

"As a sanctioning body, our job is to not only present exciting Crate Late Model racing and valuable championship point funds to our region's fans, speedways, and racers, but also to provide structure, support, and education to our RUSH partners," stated RUSH Series Co-Director Mike Leone.   "From the beginning, we promised our sanctioned speedway partners that we would provide a service and support system to them on a year-round, daily basis and we feel this rebuilder’s seminar is just another example of our commitment to them and our racers in preserving healthy and viable crate racing throughout the Northeast."

Effective December 6, the day after the seminar, any current authorized RUSH Rebuilder/Repair Facility, who does not attend this meeting without an authorized, legitimate excuse, will be removed from our authorized list.  Any rebuilder unable to attend with an authorized excuse will be required to spend time with Harry and/or one of our authorized rebuilders that attended the meeting.
